WORK WITH EDGE

Edge Cheer & Dance is always looking for people to join our talented staff. We have a lot of fun and help you as an athlete!

If you are interested in working with us, please complete a staff application and either shoot us a link to or mail a video/dvd following the guidelines below...

- Introduce yourself: name, age, school & year.

- Graduating senior? Tell us your plans after you graduate.

- Please tell us why you think you would be a great staff member and what strengths you can bring to the table .

- Why do you want to spend your summer as an Edge staffer?

- Anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself!

MATERIAL

- 1 cheer, chant or sideline (does not have to be original)

- 2 (8)-counts of dance (which we will teach)

- Demonstrate the teaching of 1 chant (using correct terminology and technique-does not have to be original)

- ANY 2 tumbling skills and ANY 2 running tumbling passes (backhandsprings not required)

- 2 jumps (toe-touch and a 2 jump combo)

- 2 stunts (coed, all-girl or both)

EDGE REQUIRES THAT YOU:

- Have cheerleading and/or dance or coaching experience

- Have transportation (for particular travel situations) & a valid driver’s license

- Are willing to travel

- Have a positive attitude and are respectful

- Want to have FUN!
