GENERAL

Q: How far in advance do I need to make a deposit?

A: Making your deposit is way of securing your spot at camp or your dates for your private camp.

Q: When is my camp balance due?

A: Camp balances are due 2 weeks before the first day of your camp.

Q: What is your refund/cancellation policy?

A: Deposits and processing fees are non-refundable. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and received at least 2 weeks prior to camp date in order to receive a refund of any monies excluding the non-refundable deposit. Any cancellations made after the 2 week deadline are not eligible for any refund. This registration is not transferable.

Q: How soon do I need to register for camp?

A: The sooner you register with a deposit the better your chances are of securing a spot or your specific dates.

Q: How do I register?

A: You can register for any resident/overnight team or individual camp, dance camp or one-day clinic online, by mail, fax or phone. For private or choreography camp, please contact our office so we can create a customized price and camp for you.

Q: Does Edge offer discounts?

A: We do offer discounts! For teams that book more than one camp or have athletes attending more than one camp we offer discounted prices. We also offer discounts for recruiting. Call us and ask us about recruiting!

Q: Are Medical Waivers required?

A: Yes. Any athlete attending an Edge camp or clinic must have a medical waiver to participate.

Q: Should I mail my Medical Waiver?

A: No. Please bring your medical waiver to check-in on the first day of your camp.

Q: What is the difference between Cutting Edge & Traditional Camp?

A: Both types of programs are offered at all our resident/overnight camps. Our Cutting Edge curriculum is a skills-only program and is more accelerated. Our Traditional curriculum is for the team that wants and all-around camp experience including some great game material.

Q: Does Edge offer any scholarships?

A: At this time, we do not offer an official scholarship program.

Q: How do I book a CHOREOGRAPHY or PRIVATE camp?

Q: Are PRIVATE camp schedules flexible?

A: Yes. You can set the time, location, curriculum and schedule for your camp. Its Your Camp and we want it to be the most convenient for you and your team.

Q: Why should I choose an Edge choreographer?

A: Well, for a couple of reasons:

- Our choreographers are selected from some of the top collegiate and professional cheer and dance teams in the country.

- Every routine is created with your team in mind. NO COOKIE CUTTER routines. We showcase your team’s strengths.

- Our choreographers not only teach the routine…they work with you on the skills needed to put your best team on the floor.

- Edge choreographers are not only creative they are also trained

- Our choreographers are covered under our insurance policy

Q: Can INDIVIDUALS attend any Edge camp?

A: Our camps for individuals are held at specifics dates as listed on the Camps 4 Individuals page of this website.

Q: As an INDIDIVUAL, do I register for Cutting Edge or Traditional Camp?

A: Neither. Individuals get their very own curriculum. Cutting Edge and Traditional Camp curriculum choices are for teams only.

Q: Do I need to be a member of a team to come to an Edge camp?

A: Not at all! We have a great curriculum for individuals.

BEFORE CAMP

Q: What do I need to bring to camp?

A: A more detailed list is included in the confirmation packets sent out to teams/individuals attending camps. But, briefly, all bed linens (sheets, blanket, pillow, sleeping bag, etc.) to fit twin extra long, alarm clock, water cooler, extra spending money for camp store or snacks. If your team is attending an Edge Traditional camp, bring your home cheer (this is optional).

Q: Do I need a physical before attending camp?

A: Although we do not require a physical to attend, it is always a great idea to make sure you are in good health before engaging in any physical activity.

Q: Does Edge give awards at camp?

A: Yes. We do daily evaluations (which are optional) and overall camp awards and fun stuff on the final day.

AT CAMP

Q: Does Edge give All Americans?

A: We do!

Q: Does Edge have a trainer available at camp?

A: We have a trainer available for injuries and emergencies at all camps at NC State University. At check-in, our trainer may discuss items listed on your medical waiver form.

Q: Does Edge have spring floors at camp?

A: Yes and we also have regular cheer floors.

Q: How much stunting time will there be at camp?

A: It depends on the curriculum and/or the type of camp you attend. Our Traditional camp athletes focus on an all-around camp whereas our Cutting Edge Camp is skill-based.

Q: What type of supervision is provided for the athletes?

A: During camp sessions, our staff supervises all athletes as well as an extra level of supervision, of course, with a team’s respective coach. After camp sessions our staff does room checks to make sure all athletes are in their rooms and lights are out at 11pm.
